Best Kept Village Competition

Each year CPRE Nottinghamshire organises a competition to find the best kept village in each of four population size categories:

  • from 2000 to 10,000
  • from 700 to 2000
  • from 300 to 700
  • under 300.

There are monetary prizes and framed certificates for the winning village and runner-up in each category.  The winning villages in each category are then entered into a final round to find the winner of the “Best of Notts” award of £1000.  Plaques are placed in each winning village and remain in place for the following year.

This competition is very kindly sponsored by Wilkinsons.
