Allotments

The Cublington Allotments are a vital part of our village’s "green lungs" and a key feature of our award-winning community. Located on the Orchard Ground, the site provides a peaceful space for residents to grow their own organic produce, stay active, and connect with fellow gardeners.

Location

The allotments are situated at the far end of the Orchard Ground on Stewkley Road (LU7 0LR), conveniently located behind the Biggs Pavilion and Cricket Club.

About the Plots

The site is managed by the Orchard Ground Committee on behalf of the Parish Council. We offer a variety of plot sizes to suit everyone from experienced "growers" to beginners, including:

Full Plots: For those looking to be self-sufficient.
Starter/Half Plots: Ideal for those new to allotment gardening.
Water Access: On-site water is available via troughs during the growing season.

Community & Competition

Allotment holders are encouraged to join the Cublington Growers group. Our gardeners are regular contributors to the annual Village Show, competing for local honors in various vegetable and flower classes. The high standard of our allotments was a contributing factor in Cublington winning the Gurney Cup (Buckinghamshire’s Best Kept Village) in 2025.

Plots are available to residents of Cublington Parish. While the site is popular, we do maintain a waiting list and welcome new inquiries.
