Dorchester Men's County League teams continued the new season on Monday 16 June 2025 -
Championship Division won 9-1 home against Shaftesbury
West Division 1 Dorchester A won 6-4 home against Portland Borstal Officers
West Division 2 Dorchester B lost 2-8 away against Weymouth & Melcombe A

Dorchester Ladies' County League teams  continued the new season on Tuesday 10 June 2025 -
Division 1 Dorchester A won 6-2 away against Bridport.
Division 2 Dorchester B lost 2-6 home against Branksome Park B.

County Mixed League

In the third game of the County Indoor Summer League  on 2 June 2025 Dorchester Dynamos lost 0-6 points in a 23 to 46 defeat to Bridport Royals.

Catering Opportunity

Dorchester Bowls Club has a unique opportunity for a self employed Caterer. This is on a franchise basis with significant scope.
We are looking for a person or persons to run this franchise for a 5 day period Monday to Friday with the occasional weekends for special matches.  The applicants must be adequately qualified with the necessary level of certification required by the Local Council in their Health and Hygiene Certificates.

Dorchester Bowls Club is a premier bowls club in Dorset and has a reputation for giving a warm and friendly welcome to all visitors as well as past and present members. It is located at the Sandringham Sports Centre off Armada Way in Dorchester, only eight miles from Dorset's Jurassic Coast. The Club provides six indoor rinks and an outside green which can accommodate up to eight rinks.
