Grant Applications & Funding

Dummer Parish Council offers two routes for local groups and organisations to apply for financial support:

1. Parish Council Grants
For smaller, general grant requests - typically capital costs such as equipment, building works, or premises improvements, and support for community events. Open to voluntary groups, clubs, charities, and not-for-profit organisations that benefit Dummer parish. Applications are considered on their merits at Full Council meetings. See the Grant Application Policy below for eligibility, assessment criteria, and the application form.

2. Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) Grants
For larger infrastructure projects, funded from the CIL payments the Parish Council receives from local development. CIL funding supports the provision, improvement, or maintenance of infrastructure - including transport, education, medical, sporting, recreational, and open space facilities - that helps address the impact of development in the parish. Applications are considered quarterly (June, September, December, March) and match funding is encouraged. See the CIL Policy and CIL Application Form below for full guidance and how to apply.
