National Grid Upgrade Works

National Grid are about to commence work on important refurbishment work on the overhead electricity line in this area. This will involve replacing the wires in sections that run between pylons as well as some minor works to the pylons themselves. The works are due to start properly in early 2020 however you may see contractors in the area before then. The works should be finished in late 2020.
