We ran our first day trip of the season to Minehead and our first using the coach firm Stamps from Dunkeswell. The driver Aran proved to be very friendly and helpful and we arrived in plenty of time to enjoy a couple of hours in the town.

We then moved on to the serious matter of bowling and our team of 6 triples put up an excellent fight, winning on 2 and losing on 4 of the rinks to go down to an overall defeat by a margin of 8 shots.

A stop for a meal at Wetherspoons in Taunton provided a fine end to the day and we look forward to our next trip to Newquay in July.
