Lee-on-the-Solent Bowling Club hosted a friendly match between
Hampshire and Kent County bowlers on 9 June and luckily it was a
reasonably fine day. Our catering team put on bacon butties and other
tempting morsels for when they arrived. The match was closely fought,
but in the end, Hampshire won by five shots after which they were given
a splendid cooked meal, again prepared by our catering team. Many
