We would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to Lee-on-the-Solent Voluntary Care Group and thank you for visiting our website. 

We have two main objectives:

Medical Transport Service
We assist the residents of Lee-on-the-Solent who require assistance to get to local medical appointments safely. Our service users are people with particular needs e.g. age, disability, or those who would find public transport or taxis difficult. Drivers will help patients find the required departments in hospitals and, if requested, will keep them company until their appointment, before returning them to their home. There is a charge for this service and the cost depends on the mileage to and from Lee-on-the-Solent. 

To request our transport services please telephone: 07807 267630. This number will be monitored by one or group of volunteers; if there is no answer please leave a message and they will return your call as soon as possible to discuss your requirements. 

Weekly Lunch Club
We run a weekly lunch club for residents of Lee-on-the-Solent who, through age, disability or loneliness need a healthy nutritious cooked meal. We provide a low cost, high quality lunch on Mondays for up to 30 members who also benefit from the companionship and enjoy the monthly music entertainment.
