Mayor of Gosport Fairtrade Tea Party
Lee-on-the-Solent Voluntary Care Group
On Friday 17th April, Sandra Close our Lunch Club Co-ordinator and two volunteers attended the May of Gosport's Fairtrade Tea Party in Gosport Town Hall.
They met up with many other local charities and voluntary organisations along with some councillors and the Mayor and it was a good opportunity to meet other people doing similar and in some cases, not so similar roles but all in the voluntary sector.
The Mayor's welcome speach was followed by the Fairtrade presentation and audience questions. During the break tea and coffee and cakes were provided by volunteers from Lee Hub Library and Gosport Fairtrade Action. There was also a quiz and a raffle.
