Parish Council elects new Chairman

At a meeting of Lilleshall Parish Council on Tuesday 12th December 2023, Cllr Bob Taylor was duly elected to serve as Chairman of the Parish Council for the remainder of the municipial year 2023/24. This was following the resignation of Cllr David Shaw who has stood down from this role to focus more time on family matters. Cllr Shaw as served as Chairman of the Parish Council since May 2022 and has been vital to many projects in the Parish, most recently being the Road Safety Scheme.

Cllr Carol Binnington was also duly elected to serve as Vice Chair of the Parish Council for the remainder of the municipial year 2023/24 due to a vacancy rising as a result of Cllr Taylor becoming Chairman.

The Parish Council wishes to extend our thanks to Cllr Shaw for all of his time and dedication to this Parish Council. All members of the Parish Council and staff are looking to continuing our proactive and collaborative way of working, as we support our new Chairman and Vice Chair.
