Malmesbury Bowls and Social Club is in a beautiful setting by the River Avon, under the Town Walls of the Historic Borough of Malmesbury. It is surrounded on four sides by water and overlooked by one of the Watermills that would have lined the banks, bringing prosperity to this very ancient Borough.

The Club is very friendly and welcoming, for both experienced and new players considering taking up this active and skillful sport. It is a misnomer to think you have to be of a certain age. All ages are welcome, come along and try it and experience for yourself the beneficial advantages of taking part in this engaging sport at this amiable and helpful Club.

There are Leagues, Competitions, and Friendlies for all levels and on Thursdays, during the season, members meet and play where the emphasis is on participation by all, whatever level. A great time to pick up tips and gain confidence and you must remember we have all been at that level. It is a skillful sport and cannot be learned overnight. If playing is not your thing consider joining the Social Club, activities include bingo, quiz nights and skittles.

Coaching is available to guide you from novice to whatever level you wish to play. If you are interested please do not hesitate to contact us, we will be only too pleased to discuss any queries you have.
