The B Team had a very good win at home against Dursley B. Despite the heavy downpour, they won by 10-0 on points and by 103-34 on shots. Bob managed a full house and scored 8 for a "hot shots" award. Well done to the new bowlers who played their first league match.

Scores on the Doors were

  • Bob - 49-7
  • David - 33-8
  • Ruby - 23-19

The league table is here http://www.southcotswoldbowls.co.uk/?page_id=90 Malmesbury B are second in the table now.

The A Team travelled to Olveston and managed not to get stuck in traffic. Also the weather gods were kind and the evening was quite pleasant. Unfortunately the team lost 0-10 on points and 35-64 on shots. The scores on the doors were

  • Tim - 16-17
  • Roy - 12-18
  • Pete - 7-29

Tim's rink were thwarted from drawing the game on the last end. His rink were down 1-10 but managed to fight back to lose 16-17. Who knows what the result would have been if Paul hadn't sent down a bowl with the wrong bias?

The league table can be found here http://www.southcotswoldbowls.co.uk/?page_id=75. Malmesbury A need to win their last four games to avoid relegation.
