In the National Two Wood Singles, held on Sunday 23rd July 2023, Paul beat Wayne Snook (Holt) in the last 16 and lost to Keith Sanders (Amesbury) in the quarter-finals.The competition was won by K. Carter (Westlecot).

One the same day, Malmesbury lost to Purton in the Tourist Trophy. The home four wonby 7 but not by enough as the away four lost by 11 at Purton.

On Monday, 25th July 2023, Paul lost to Andy Moore (Spencer Melksham) by 20-21 in the County Champion of Champions.

Next Sunday, 30th July, at 10:00, Brian, Mal, Tim and Roy are in the semifinal of the National Fours (Over 55s) at Devizes where they meet a four from Chippenham Town. The schedule is here http://www.bowlswiltshire.co.uk/2023/07/32235/
