Congratulations to Joan on winning the Ladies Day Competion. Our Ladies Day competition also took place on the Sunday, with six of our finest going head to head in a round robin competition. Sue Mellowes came third (on shot difference), Anne Croft taking second place. The clear winner was Joan, who was unbeaten. In the absence of a Ladies Championship competition this year, due to insufficient entries, Joan was presented with the Ladies Championship Trophy by President John, even though the format does not allow for formal recognition as such. Hopefully with our growth in lady members this year, we can hold a full competition next year.

In the Men's Handicap Semifinals, Malc was victorious over Alan by 22-17. The other semifinal was a long match over 30 ends before Rob Liddington finally got over the line 21-19 against Roy. Congratulations to Malc and Roy who will be in the final.
