Captains Charity Day 2026
Our Captains Charity Day was held on Friday 7th August and was very well attended as you can see in the group photo.
Our first competition was the Spider. The men’s winner was Fonz Canzano. The Ladies prize went to Ann Jackson.
Club Captain Anne Haynes and Ladies Captain Ann Jackson chose Macmillan Cancer Support as their nominated charity for this year.
We raised a total of £460 for the charity!
After the spider competition, teams of Mowsbury members played in a Spoon Drive to try and achieve the highest number of points.
The winners were Mary, June (not in photo) Barry and John.
A BBQ was followed by the prize giving and raffle.
