About Our Club

Mowsbury Park Bowls Club (MPBC) was founded in 1977. We are a small but very friendly lawn bowls club of about forty members. We offer a wide range of bowling opportunities from coaching for beginners to County competitions.

Whether you are an experienced player, newcomer to the game or would just like to try out the sport you can always be sure of a warm welcome at our club.

Our open days are Wednesday and Friday from 2.0 pm to 4:30pm each week throughout the season which runs from mid-April to late September. On these afternoons we offer free coaching and use of equipment to all beginners and as you gain in confidence an opportunity to join in our informal practice sessions.  All you require are flat shoes.

For the experienced player there is the opportunity to play at various levels, from Club competitions to friendly matches with other clubs and eventually County leagues and competitions.

Our Club and the Community

We play friendly matches and league games with other clubs from all over Bedfordshire. We welcome spectators to all home matches.
