Presidents Day/New Patio
On Saturday 27th June 2026 we celebrated Presidents Day and the opening of our new garden patio. From concept to completion of the patio took some time but was worth the wait.
The completed job is excellent and is a credit to our members and their hard work. Many thanks to those that gave up their time to help.
Our President Alan Watson gave a speech and welcomed members, friends and partners.
Our longest serving member Jean Saunders then cut the ribbon and declared the patio formally open. Jean wore the same hat she had worn when she joined Mowsbury twenty six years ago!
The opening was celebrated with bubbly all round.
A fun game of bowls was played followed by afternoon tea including birthday celebrations for three people present on the day..
