Skills Sessions

Once our Model Railway Show is over in early May and the club layout is safely back home, we can turn our attention to having an additional planned session each month looking at particular model railway skills.

Non-members are welcome to attend one of skills sessions at the same cost as members, £1.00 as a contribution to refreshments and electricity. Becoming a member of our club will cost you just £15 a year.

N Gauge Society - IoW Group Skills Sessions

Last year we ran a number of sessions on such topics as rock faces, static grass, 3D modelling, lighting, Metcalfe kits and an introduction to DCC. We expect to build on these and may well also be looking at such topics as backscenes, bridges, ground cover, landforms, loco maintenance, people, roads, signals, trees, tunnels and water.
