Skills Sessions

We are fortunate in having a lot of members with various skills gained through employment and other hobbies. We are now trying to have an additional planned session each month looking at particular model railway skills.

Non-members are welcome to attend one of skills sessions at the same cost as members, £1.00 as a contribution to refreshments and electricity. Becoming a member of our club will cost you just £15 a year.

Last year we ran a number of sessions on such topics as rock faces, static grass, 3D modelling, lighting, Metcalfe kits and an introduction to DCC. We expect to build on these and may well also be looking at such topics as backscenes, bridges, ground cover, landforms, loco maintenance, people, roads, signals, trees, tunnels and water.

Change of Plan!

David is going to Wire up the u-Drive layout and make sure it runs smoothly. He will also do a refresher on Soldering - Definately not to be missed especially if you missed it last time.

Pete is also going to bring his board with the wiring moved from top to bottom, talk us through it all and demonstrate it in action.

A Mega event, not to be missed.
