2026 Champ of champs
On Sunday 7th June, bowlers from 13 Clubs in the NYBL arrived from 10.15am onwards at Northallerton B.C. to compete in the 2026 Champ of Champs Competition. There were many close encounters over 13 ends during a dry and reasonably warm day on a green that was a pleasure to bowl on and a credit to the greenkeeper and his team at this Club. The final of 15 ends produced a very tight game in which Vincent Lien ( Northallerton) narrowly defeated Matthew Mosley (Middlesbrough) 12shots to 11.
Congratulations to the winner and runner up and to the Club, Brian Wilkes and other members who gave up their time and helped to make the hosting and marking during the event a satisfying occasion for all those involved.
