Fixtures/results

The 2024 season will start on Monday 29 April. The fixtures can be viewed below.
Since the fixtures were produced, Borough Park Rangers has withdrawn from the league. Any team scheduled to play that team now has a bye. This means there are now two teams in each round with a bye. If the two teams that have a bye wish to bring their game forward that is okay. Results should be sent to John Selley after each round.
There have been changes to the rules of play.
12 players per team, playing as 3 rinks of 4 players. Each player having 2 bowls. The scoring system is 1 point for each winning rink, half a point for a drawn rink and 4 points for the long game. 7 points in total. Any team postponing a game unless due to an unfit green will be deducted 4 points. Any team postponing any game must, within 7 days of the postponement, offer 3 dates to the opposition, 1 of which should be a weekend. The published reserve dates of Mondays 29 May and 1 & 8 July may not be offered unless by mutual agreement. The offered dates must allow the game to be played within the sooner of 28 days of the postponement or 14 days after the final scheduled round of fixtures. The away team must accept 1 of the offered dates within 7 days of receipt. Failure to do so will result in the award of the game and match points to the home team. A copy of the League's Rules and Constitution, as agreed at the 2023 AGM, can be viewed below. Team captains should ensure they are aware of the new rules.
