A Mixed Result at Grangewood

A mixed afternoon for Norbury. On Rink 2, we came out flying, racing to a 0–12 lead after just four ends. But Grangewood gradually found their form, and by the 11th end they’d drawn level at 13–13. Thankfully, we steadied ourselves and finished strong, taking the rink 14–21.

With one rink finished, the other still had a good few ends left to play and was struggling to stay within seven shots. The pressure was definitely on, and it showed. We ended up losing by 9. With an overall score of 37–28, the day didn’t go quite as we hoped. But we’ll dust ourselves off and carry on!
