Fun, Sun and a Win Over New Addington

Saturday 10th May - League match at home against New Addington

Points were swinging onto the teams' totals, and players’ bowls rolled down the green as fast as lightning. A perfectly good start for an afternoon like this. The sun was shining bright, it was a warm day, and it felt like the start of summer.

Spirits were high, and the league game carried on. The friendly match was great! 👍 On rink 3, they had a tremendous lead — sadly, the opposition made a comeback to draw it 18-all. Luckily, the rink on the other side pulled ahead at the beginning and never looked back. It led them to victory with 25-8. That leaves us with the final score…

Inside, everybody had a nice relax, a drink and a snack, then got their raffle tickets. The raffle had more great prizes to choose from, but when it started, our opponents had a surprise — their team only had one winner! That proves we are amazing at bowling and raffles.

Good job Norbury for such a great day.
