Keeping Our Green in Top Shape

On Friday, January 31, our regular Green Team was joined by social member Mike Hitt for a hands-on training session with our existing equipment. Together, we covered both our lawn mowers (yes, we have two!), our groomer, and our spiker. It was a great opportunity for those new to the equipment to get up to speed, while even the experienced members picked up a few new tricks.

Beyond the practical training, we also discussed general green maintenance, sharing valuable insights and takeaways that will help keep our playing surface in top condition.

Can you lend a hand?
Maintaining the green is a team effort, and we need as many volunteers as possible to help with its upkeep. There are plenty of tasks to suit all abilities—from operating machinery to trimming hedges and keeping weeds at bay. If you have any time to spare, we'd love to have you on board. Please get in touch!
