Horse on Kilpin Green
North Crawley Parish Council
Notice to Residents and Visitors: Use of Parish Council Green Space
The Parish Council has been made aware of an instance of a horse being ridden on Kilpin Green.
We would like to remind all residents and visitors that this area is not designated for horse riding. The green space contains trees and other natural features, and riding horses in this area may pose safety risks to riders, pedestrians and other users, as well as potentially damaging the trees, grass and surrounding ground.
Horse riding can cause significant wear to the grass, particularly in wet conditions, leaving ruts, bare patches and uneven surfaces that affect the appearance and enjoyment of the space for everyone.
We ask for everyone's cooperation in ensuring that the green space is used appropriately and safely, in keeping with its intended purpose.
Please do not ride horses on Kilpin Green unless specific permission has been granted by the Parish Council.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation in helping us protect this shared community space and keep it safe and enjoyable for all.
