The Old Alresford Dramatic Society (‘TOADS’)

A very good way to get involved in the Village is to join TOADS. Their two major annual productions are the pantomime in early December and the Spring Show in early May. TOADS are always looking for those who want to act and those who can help behind the scenes, front of house or in any other capacity. There are also junior TOADS who make their own contribution to shows.

The Mixed Club meets in the Christy Hall on Tuesday evenings from 7.30-10.00 for billiards, table tennis etc.

There are two playparks: On the Village Green and at the end of Kiln Lane. Both are maintained by the Parish Council

Steve holds a weekly surgery every Friday, either at the Methodist Church on Winchester Road, Chandler’s Ford or in his constituency ‘shop’ at 9 Stockbridge Road, Winchester. Home visits can be arranged with notice for constituents who are unable to leave their home. If you would like to make an appointment please call Gabrielle Mancini on 0207 219 7189 or email steve.brine.mp@parliament.uk stating your full address and daytime telephone number.

Visits to and tours of the Houses of Parliament (and Big Ben) can be arranged through Steve’s office; please call 01962 791110 or email steve.brine.mp@parliament.uk making clear how many in your party and when you would ideally like to visit.  Tours of Parliament arranged through your MP (Mon-Fri) are free of charge. Tours on a Saturday are chargeable and can only be booked via Ticketmaster.
