Competition Rules

Indoor Bowls Competition Rules

Members should not enter the competitions if unavailable on finals weekend.

The only exception will be where a competitor reaches a county/ national competition which match/matches are scheduled for the same date and which takes precedence.

The challenger is the first named in each round of the draw and is responsible for booking the rinks offering the opponent two dates/times (taking into consideration when an opponent is in employment) and for singles games arranging a marker.

The opponent, if not challenged within 5 days of the 'to be challenged by date, shall endeavour to contact the challenger to arrange the fixture. Should the challenger then still fail to offer dates the game will be awarded to the opponent.

All games will be played according to the rules of the competition.
