County Honours 2023

An excellent year for Risbygate Indoor Bowlers

A fantastic run in the Masons for our ladies; many of our lady bowlers playing in The Atherley and 2 of our U25s men, playing in the Final for Suffolk at Nottingham against Cambridgeshire.
Runners up in the Mixed Suffolk County League.

We also had winners in the following:-
Mark Royal winning the Champion of Champions for the third time.
Men's Suffolk County League, (5th time in a row).
Joey Taylor Balls (JTB).
Eldon Griffiths Cup. & Tim Yeo Cup.

Just when we thought it couldn’t get any better, we then had the Suffolk County Finals held at Ipswich Indoor Bowls Club in mid-April. Sixteen of our players managed to get through to the Semis and Finals and of the 15 trophies to play for, Risbygate won 7.
We now have the following County Champions/Title Holders:-
Mixed Pairs – Dan Poole, Sarah Gove.
Mixed Triples – Dan Poole, Robbie Gove, Sarah Gove.
2 Bowl Ladies Triples – Sarah Gove, Sandi Steed, Helen Coleman.
Junior Champion of Champions – Alfie Jackson.
