A message from the Chairman

Welcome to the Website of Seamer Parish Council.

Seamer Parish Council covers a large rural area together with Seamer Village and Crossgates near Scarborough in North Yorkshire.

The Council is here to serve all parishioners and we hope you will contact any Councillor or the clerk on any issue affecting the Parish. Please see the Council Members page for individual contact details for Members and the Contact page for details of the clerk. The Council will do what it can within its powers to assist with any matters raised.

The Chairman and Vice-Chairman have decided that the Council is not currently meeting in person, indefinitely during the Coronavirus (COVID-19) restrictions.

A first virtual meeting of the Council is to be held by Zoom, starting at 7.00pm on Tuesday 29 September 2020, when future meetings will be considered. Members of the Public wishing to attend should request an invitation by e-mail to clerk@seamercrossgates.org.uk at least 2 hours before the meeting.

Parishioners are warmly invited to attend any of our normal meetings when they resume on the second Tuesday of each month, alternately at Seamer & Irton War Memorial Hall, Main Street, Seamer and Crossgates Community Centre starting at 7.00 p.m. Please see the Council Meeting Dates and Agenda pages of this website for further details.
