Annual Parish Meeting

An Annual Parish Meeting is a yearly (between 1st March and 1st June) gathering of the local government area known as a parish and is distinct from a Parish Council meeting: It is a meeting of the electors (the people living in the parish), not just the councillors.

Chaired by the Chairman of the Parish Council, it gives residents the chance to hear reports on parish business, discuss community issues, and raise questions or suggestions. It’s meant to promote transparency and local involvement. The meeting is laid out to review of the year’s parish activities, with updates from local groups or representatives and open discussions about local priorities or concerns.

All are warmly welcome to attend.
