I was elected to Urpeth Parish Council in 2021, and stood because I believe it is vital for younger people to be involved in local government. Decisions are made by people who show up and we need a variety of perspectives to best serve our community.

I have lived in Urpeth Parish since 2018. In addition to my role I have been a local County Councillor since 2017 and I also have experience working for Kevan Jones MP. I believe that as the most local tier of Government, Parish Councils have a vital role to play in improving local communities. They are often able to go above and beyond what local authorities can do to make our villages the very best places to live.
