I'll publish a full report in due course but there are a few points of interest from tonight's League AGM.
Chard were unanimously readmitted into the league for the 2024 season.
Three new teams were admitted- Chard, Taunton (Vivary) D team and Bridgwater C team. Taunton Deane will confirm by the 30th September whether they are entering a D team.
Regardless of whether TD do enter a D team next year's division one will have 14 teams which will include Wellington B team who have been reprieved of relegation. Minehead A who finished third in division two will join Taunton Deane C and Eastover A in division one. Taunton Deane B team will be relegated from division one to division two.
Both leagues will run from Thursday 16th May through to Thursday 8th August inclusive. If division 2 only has 13 teams each team will have one bye week.
