Thank You

Thank you to all who came to our last roll-up of the season and thank you to everyone for making the season so enjoyable. Also a special thank you to our green keeping team; John B, Peter N and Paul S and everyone else who helped with the upkeep of the green as well as the flower beds and surrounding areas. Thank you to Peter N and Jan Smith our captains, Phil and Jan K, competition secretary's. A big thank you must also go to our hard working admin man, Graham for compiling and keeping up to date with all the fixtures and the changes that took place during the season. We would also like to thank everyone who helped with the cleaning and to those who made and prepared the teas coffees and biscuits at our matches and roll-ups. Thank you one and all. Don’t forget our indoor/winter season starts Monday 6th October

We have a bit of extra good news, due to our short mat carpet bowling being so popular the last few years we have added an extra session for you on Thursday’s

All of our indoor sessions start at 1345 hrs and last for a couple of hours or so and cost £2 which includes a cup of coffee, tea and a couple of biscuits.

This years schedule is: -

Mondays: - Board Games, Cards and Table Tennis.

Tuesdays: - Board Games, Cards and Darts.

Wednesdays: - Short Mat Bowling.

Thursdays: - Short Mat Bowling

Fridays: - Short Mat Bowling

If you're coming to our short mat bowling sessions please can you bring along a pair of slippers or clean flat bottemed bowling shoes to change into. This is to help protect the bowling mat.

Please note: - Due to increased costs each session will be £3.

Other events we have are our popular coffee mornings on the 1st Saturday of the month at 1000hrs with our first on the 4th October. Come along, have a catch up and a natter in relaxed surroundings

Saturday 22nd November: - Quiz with our popular quiz master and Master of Ceremonies, Graham.

Saturday 29th November at the Dog & Duck, Plucks Gutter: - Presentation Lunch.

Saturday 20th December: - Festive Afternoon (you chance to show off your new Christmas jumper).
