Westbrook Bowls Club Safeguarding

Westbrook Bowls Club is committed to providing a safe and welcoming environment to adults as well as young people to enjoy the wonderful game of ‘Lawn Bowls’. In conjunction with the Bowls Development Alliance we have introduced policies and systems to ensures the activities at our club are safe as well as enjoyable for all participants.

We believe every single member of our club has a role to play in Safeguarding with all adults and young people who maybe at risk, to ensure this happens we have introduced various codes, guidelines, policies and procedures

Everyone at Westbrook Bowls Club has the right to live free from abuse and neglect, this is regardless of age, ability, disability, ethnic origin, marital status or gender status, race, religion sex or sexual orientation, the club is committed to creating and maintaining a safe environment. We encourage members to have an open as well as a listening culture where people can feel they are able to share any concerns they may have without fear of any comeback or retribution.

If you have a Safeguarding concern, please speak with a  club member or contact the club's Safeguarding Officer Tracy Leighton using the Safeguarding reporting form by using the link below.
