Weston Turville Parish Council
The Parish Council owns and is responsible for the land at the Village Hall. There are a number of facilities here, including tennis courts, football pitches and children’s playground.
Please help keep the area tidy and report any issues to the Clerk by email or telephone 01296 531432. Dog walkers - dogs are not allowed within the children's playground, please pick up after your dogs and use the dog waste bins provided.
The football pitches are leased to a local football club, please contact the Clerk if you are interested in hiring them. Please note the changing rooms are not currently being used but the Council is planning to provide new facilities through use of s106 monies from local developments.
The tennis courts are open to the public and available 24/7 at no charge. One court is awaiting refurbishment following an incident and it is hoped this will be back in use by the end of May 2017.
The new children’s play area was opened in November 2015 when it was moved from the car park to the playing field behind the Village Hall. It provides a wide range of age applicable pieces that are suitable from tots to teens and even some adult exercise equipment so that the whole family has something to do.
In response to requests, the Council installed a new tower and slide in the playground in May 2017.
