Weston Turville Neighbourhood Plan Publication
After many months of hard work and community engagement, Weston Turville Parish Council has now submitted it’s final version of the Weston Turville Neighbourhood Development Plan. As the local authority AVDC are now required to undertake a six week publication period to provide an opportunity for all parties to comment on the submitted proposals before the plan goes to examination. The consultation commenced on Tuesday 30 January and will close at 5pm on Wednesday 14th March 2018.
What is the Weston Turville Neighbourhood Plan
The Weston Turville Neighbourhood Plan (WNP) is the emerging development plan for the Weston Turville Neighbourhood Area (covering the same area as the parish council) for the period 2013-2033. On adoption it will form part of the Development Plan, which planning applications in that area will be assessed against. The WTNP contains 18 policies designed to conserve and enhance the distinctive character of the three main settlements within the parish, whilst enabling small-scale sustainable development to take place to meet local needs. The plan focuses on delivering affordable housing for families and downsizers, whilst retaining the distinctive features of the parish and seeks to designate 7 local green spaces

How to Comment on the Plan?
Comments can be made electronically or in writing by the following means:
- Emailed to:firstname.lastname@example.org
- In writing: posted to Neighbourhood Planning Officer , Planning Policy, AVDC, The Gateway, Gatehouse Road, Aylesbury, HP19 8FF.
Please Note: If sending comments by post please allow up to two working days for the post to be delivered. Any comments received after the 5pm deadline on the Wednesday 14 March 2018 will not be taken into account. Additionally you can request to be notified of AVDC’S decision to make the plan once an examination and referendum has taken place.
Following the period for comment, AVDC will collate the responses and submit them to an examiner for the document to be examined.
