Verges of Ecological Importance

We are looking at trying to see if we can get one or more verges locally identified as of Ecological Importance.  What does this mean?  Well it may mean we can influence the mowing schedules to allow plants time to flower and set to seed and/or to protect any inhabitants in the verges.
