Like county councils all over the country, Shropshire is facing unprecedented financial pressures.
As a result, Shropshire Council are proposing an annual subscription charge of £52, (£1 a week) for each garden waste bin collection required. This proposal is currently in the consultation stage so is open for public comment
Woore Parish Council are encouraging as many residents as possible to submit their thoughts on this to Shropshire Council.
The survey takes around ten minutes to complete and the consultation runs until 20 May 2024.
