The Community Award for 2019 is awarded to Colin Davis. After seeking nominations from Residents the Allhallows Parish Council forward a nomination to the Kent Association of Local Council Community Award each year. Previous winners are Pat Huntley-Chipper, Val Peeke, Trevor and Jan Bowley and this year Colin Davis. The framed certificate was presented to Colin at Slough Fort by the Parish Chair Chris Draper.
The award is supported by the Sheriff of Kent, The Chairman of Kent County Council and the May of Medway. The award was announced at the Annual Parish Meeting on 17th April and presented at the Slough Fort Open Day (Sunday 21st April 2019) - Also open on Monday 22nd.

The citation reads "In recognition of Colin’s dedication to the village over many years through voluntary work at Slough Fort, Allsaints Church, the Annual Fete, historic knowledge and general support throughout the village"

(a call for nominations for the 2020 award will be advertised in November/December 2019)
