New Safety Surfacing in Recreation Ground

New safety surfacing has been installed around some of the play equipment in the Recreation Ground, Some of the surfacing was life expired and compacted, leaving hard soil beneath the equipment. This was installed when the equipment was upgraded about seven years ago, with the aim that grass would grow through the plastic grid and provide a soft surface, however that failed and the grass never had a chance.
