Annual Parish Meeting

The Annual Parish Meeting is a meeting for all electors living within Belsay Parish. Held each year in May, it provides an opportunity for residents to hear about local matters, discuss issues affecting the parish, and raise questions or concerns about the community.

Unlike Parish Council meetings, the Annual Parish Meeting is not a meeting of the Parish Council itself, although it is usually organised by the Council and attended by parish councillors. The meeting may include reports from the Parish Council, local organisations, community groups, and other bodies working within the parish.

The Annual Parish Meeting is an important opportunity for residents to engage with local democracy, share ideas, and help shape the future of Belsay Parish. All parish electors are welcome and encouraged to attend. Information about the date, time, venue, and agenda will be published in advance of the meeting.
