Defibrillator

A public access defibrillator is located on the wall by the front entrance of Belsay Primary School, A696, Belsay Village, NE20 0ET.

This defibrillator can be used by anyone in an emergency. No training is required. Once activated, the device provides clear, step-by-step voice instructions.  It will assess the patient’s heart rhythm and will only advise delivering a shock if it is necessary. It is designed so that it cannot deliver a shock accidentally.

Please note that the defibrillator and its maintenance are the responsibility of Belsay Primary School and not the Parish Council.
