Local Plan Response- January 2021

The Parish Council strongly supports the level of development for Cross Houses in the Local Plan. The residents, at two public meetings, let it be known that Cross Houses had received a large number of housing due to five year land supply issues and asked that this additional housing be taken into account when Shropshire Council in this refresh of the local plan. The Parish Council are pleased that Shropshire Council have taken on board the Parish Council’s concerns and did not allocate any further sites for development. The 9 wind fall houses allocated to the proposed development boundary is considered acceptable.
