Leicester League

The Leicester and District Bowls league is formed from a group of 18 Clubs situated in and around the City of Leicester.

The 2026 season starts for us on the 29th April and following a great season last year we are now back in the First Division, following us winning the North Division and winning the Knockout Cup.

The league is still in 3 divisions of 6 teams with a 1st division and two other geographical based divisions - North & South

The league is still 4 rinks but hope to return 5 rinks asap and clubs are asked to try their best to get outa 5th rink.

The bottom two teams in Division one will be relegated and replaced by the top team of the North & South Divisions and a geographical re shuffle will take place if needed

The 2026 KO Cup sees us playing Fosseway on the 17th June - 6:15 start - All four rinks are Away.
