Meals on Wheels

Meals on Wheels is a voluntary organisation who cook and deliver meals twice a week on Monday and Friday. The cooks do the cooking from home or business and the delivery people collect the meals from the cook or a place arranged by the cook and the delivery person.

At the moment we have 6 old people receiving the meals but we can do up to 8 dinners, including a main course and a pudding at £5 a meal.

If you know of someone in need of a meal being provided twice a week in Clun, please  let us know. If you can help cook or deliver it would be good to have some back-up volunteers.

It was a great honour to have been invited to the Lord Lieutenant’s Garden Party at Orleton Hall, Wellington on 4th June for what we have done for Meals on Wheels.
