    Last month, the government announced plans to streamline the process for fracking – plans that pose a huge environmental risk to our landscapes, threaten the tranquillity of the countryside, and remove local people’s power to influence that process. We see it as an outright dismissal of communities' wishes and plan to fight these proposals every step of the way. CPRE Notts are involved with CPRE National Office over the coming weeks fin designing a campaign to prevent this proposals from being put into effect.
