THE BASINGSTOKE AND DEANE BOROUGH COUNCIL (TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) (FULLERS LANE, NEWBURY) NOTICE 2020

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council, pursuant to arrangements made under Section 101 of the Local Government Act 1972 with Hampshire County Council, in exercise of the powers of the said County Council under Section 14(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 considers that the closure specified below should come into force.

Road Affected:-

Fullers Lane, Newbury – Fullers Lane eastbound for 440 metres.

Reason for Closure:-

Works will be undertaken to allow for urgent Openreach works to restore customers service.

Alternative Route:-

Via Church Road, Abbey Wells Road, or by this route in the reverse.

Period of closure:

The closure will come into effect on 15 September 2020 for 4 days (09:30 - 15:30) only (until 18 September 2020 or until works are completed, whichever is the sooner)
