Essex Appointments -EBCS

Essex appointments to the EBCS National Executive

The Essex Bowls Coaches Association is pleased to announce two important appointments that strengthen our contribution to coaching development at national level.

Trevor Plank, Essex County Coach and Coaching Co‑ordinator, has been appointed to the English Bowls Coaching Society (EBCS) National Executive as National Director of Coaching, where he will direct the ongoing modernisation of coaching standards and the development of a consistent national pathway.

Phil Hensher, Essex Coaching Development Officer, has also been seconded to the National Executive as Director of Coaching Development, with responsibility for coach progression, mentoring structures, Safeguarding and the enhancement of training delivery across England.

Both Trevor and Phil would like to thank everyone for their continued support and encouragement. They will continue in their county roles within the Essex Bowls Coaches Association, ensuring continuity for coaches across the county while contributing to the future of coaching at national level.

These appointments reflect the high regard in which Essex coaching is held and ensure that our county continues to play a leading role in shaping the future of coaching within the sport.
