Volunteering with GST

We are always keen to help people to garden at GST.  We believe passionately in the therapeutic value of gardening. Being outside pottering in a garden is good for the soul!  So many people have very little space or opportunity though so we would love to hear from you if you would like to learn some gardening skills. or if you know about growing and have no chance to do it.  Young, old, retired, just starting out or just with some time you don't know what to do with - please consider spending some time with us in the organic garden at the Green Britain Centre.  It's a lovely green space with plenty of places to relax and contemplate but we need volunteers to help us keep it looking beautiful. We have a large vegetable and fruit garden plus a wild flower meadow and a wonderful heritage orchard in the centre grounds.There is also a vegan cafe on site and you get  free drinks and discount  for meals if you're volunteering!
