Welcome to Guiting Power Parish Council Website

Guiting Power Parish Council is the first tier of local government for the village, representing the interests of residents and working to maintain and improve the quality of life for everyone who lives and works in the parish. The council meets regularly throughout the year to consider planning applications, manage local assets, set the annual precept, and engage with the district and county councils on matters affecting the village.

Guiting Power is a small but thriving Cotswold village with a strong sense of community. The village benefits from a shop, café with Post Office services, two public houses, a village hall, and children's playground, as well as easy access to some of the finest walking countryside in the Cotswolds.

This website is your first point of contact for everything the Parish Council does. Here you will find dates and agendas for upcoming meetings, minutes of past meetings, financial information, planning consultations, and details of local services provided by the Parish Council, Cotswold District Council, and Gloucestershire County Council. New to the village? The information for new residents section is a good place to start.

If you cannot find what you are looking for, or wish to contact the council, please get in touch with the Clerk who will be happy to help. Email clerk@guitingpower-pc.gov.uk
