Bye Laws

County Matches
All County matches are played in County shirts and black trousers.
Players selected for the county are to wear a blazer or County
Jacket before and after the game and for the match meal where
applicable. All players are to report to the Officer in charge not
less than 30 minutes before the scheduled commencement for the
match
Award of County Badge
A player must play in at least FIVE qualifying matches (Liberty
Trophy qualification is a separate ruling), TWO of which must be
away games (i.e. out of County). These games must be played
over a minimum period of not less than two years (calculated from
the date of the first qualifying game). Appearance in Home
Counties matches will count towards the qualification. An
appearance for the County in a full Liberty Trophy match is an
automatic qualification for a badge. Winners of the County Singles,
Pairs, Triples, Fours and Senior Two Woods Triples will
automatically qualify for the award of a County badge.
Non-qualifying games are President's matches, tour matches,
Executive and Patrons' matches
Award of Flashes
3.1 A Liberty Trophy flash shall be awarded to players after
three appearances in a full Liberty Trophy match (trial games and
"shakedown' matches are excluded).
3.2 A Home Counties flash shall be awarded to players who
appear in FIVE Home Counties matches (either home or away) fror
January 1995 (Minute 6 of Executive Meeting, 21 November 1995)
3.3 An Under 25's lapel badge shall be awarded to players who
appear in TWELVE Under 25's EIBA or Home Counties matches
(either home or away)
3.4 A Colt lapel badge shall be awarded to players in their first
County badge qualifying match only.
3.5 A Patrons' blazer flash shall be awarded to players who play
in FIVE Patrons' matches in NOT LESS THAN TWO YEARS
(calculated from the date of the first qualifying game). Both home
and away matches to count, but games played on the patrons'
Annual or other tours are non-qualifying.
3.6 A special flash will be awarded to players who have played
25, 50, 75 and 100 matches.
NOTE: A charge will be made for replacement of ANY blazer
badges or flashes. Colt lapel badges will NOT be replaced under
any circumstances.
Eligibility to attend Meetings
4.1 Executive meetings are restricted to Officers and accredited
delegates.
4.2 Other Committee meetings shall be restricted to those persons
nominated and approved by the Executive.
Frequency of Executive Meetings
Executive meetings shall be held during the first two weeks of
September, December, March and May of each year.
Nomination of Junior Deputy Presidents
Affiliated clubs shall be invited, in the following order, to nominate
suitable candidates for election as Junior Deputy President :-
Riverside, East Dorset, Banister Park, New Milton,
Chawton Park, Palmerston, Atherley, Loddon Vale, Longmeadow
and Victory
Should a Club, when invited to nominate a candidate, decline to
provide a nominee, the club should be moved to the end of the
order and the next club in the order be invited to nominate a
Candidate
